"The Phantom Erik and Lester Reaper are here to possess your corpse for another week, this time to explore the strange world of Jose Mojica Marins and his inseparable character, Coffin Joe. On this installment of the 100 Years of Horror, we take a look at the second part of his trilogy, ‘This Night I’ll Possess Your Corpse” from 1967. A polarizing figure in the horror world, Coffin Joe has become known for his ability to cross over from the classical horrors of the 1930s and ’40s into the tortorous, sadistic, sexified ’60s. As such, we’ll be putting this film, which continues Joe’s quest to find the perfect mate for his perfect offspring, up against the introduction of sex to the horror genre.
