So, let me get this straight. In a hands on session... HANDS ON. Meaning the journalist should have been actually playing the game. The journalist did not realize he was playing a remaster of a game from 2009?

I highly doubt the original writer ever even touched the game controller during this hands-on session. More likely, they were in a coffee shop bitching about sexism in the game industry and wrote their article based on what they read on Twitter.
