The book is about toxic chemicals’ effects on the human body. The story centers around a character that comes from pretty much a perfect world where there is no greed or corruption or dysfunction or addiction and he passes through a portal into this world. And all those things that say take 30 years for us to feel the side effects from like the food that we eat and the air that we breathe, while he's adjusting it happens to him within a matter of minutes.

I did a blue grey pallet for the book to be representative of how sick we are as people and each issue I'm introducing a bit more color like a Pleasantville sort of thing.

The reason for books 1A and 1B is this; instead of doing a variant cover I did a variant issue. So, 1B is done in a more traditional art style with narration and dialogue while 1A is painted and told entirely in exposition. So, one is a description of the setting while the other is told in first person.
