From horrorphilia.com-
"The newest episode of 100 Years of Horror brings us to the end of the Splattering ’60s, and we’re doing it big. This week, we feature 1969′s ‘Mad Doctor of Blood Island’, directed by Eddie Romero and starring John Ashley. The film features all the great stuff we’ve covered over the decade: gore, sex, splatter, while introducing a new concept for the first time on our list, the “plant horror”. Tune in to hear the Phantom Erik and Lester Reaper recall this story of a scientist and refugee exploring a strange, secluded island to find out what’s been happening to its inhabitants. It’s definitely a splatter film, though this week we’re going green with this little-known Phillippine classic!"
