"According to Variety "The Walking Dead" star Jon Bernthal, who plays Shane, is in early conversations with TNT to star in its period drama pilot "L.A. Noir," shepherded by Frank Darabont. If signed, it could mean that Shane will be getting offed on the zombierific show, just like the character in the comics! It's unlikely that he'd do both as the "L.A. Noir" role he's in negotiations for is a lead. Stay tuned."

I hope Season 3 is anything but what I had to go through in Season 2: A fat guy (Otis)getting off'd by Shane- who cares (don't know him); the Asian kid having sex with a woman three times his size (didn't believe it) and who cares anyway; and another fat dude getting ripped apart while getting pulled from the well (what-ev/ not worth an entire episode to see). Season 3- I want to see more zombies getting hacked to bits! It's really that simple!
