"Harry Potter" director David Yates to do "Doctor Who" movie with the BBC
‘Harry Potter’ director David Yates has announced that he will be making a ‘Doctor Who’ movie with the BBC. The film will NOT be directly connected to the long-running ‘Doctor Who’ TV show, which has been running since 1963. Making it the longest running sci-fi tv series of all time (take that Trekkies!)
Yates had this to say-
“We’re looking at writers now. We’re going to spend two to three years to get it right. It needs quite a radical transformation to take it into the bigger arena.”
