THE STORY:
We recently lost a member of our Gaming community. In the interest of privacy for the family I have chosen not to disclose personal details about the situation, but many of you know who we are holding in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers in this time, most especially the survivors who are left behind.
As Gamers, many of us struggle with depression and suicide and have found hope and solace both in video games and from people we have met through online play. Games should always be a place of childlike abandonment and joy. This charity is dedicated to the memory of our friend and to those in our community who are struggling.
You are not alone.
