The Sky Has Fallen won Best Horror Feature at the 2009 Indie Gathering Film Festival as well as Best Feature at the 2009 Freak Show Horror Film Festival. This year it also won yet another Best Horror Feature at the 2015 Global Independent Film Awards. At the 2009 British Film Festival LA, it was nominated for Best Score. It won an Award of Merit for a Feature Film and another Award of Merit for Cinematography at the 2012 Accolade Competition. At the 2012 Maverick Movie Awards, it was nominated for Best Special FX and Best FX Makeup. The film was also nominated for Best Feature and Best FX at the 2013 San Antonio Horrific Film Fest. Recently, it received a nomination for Best Use of Blood/Makeup/FX at the 2014 Bare Bones Film Festival and I was nominated for an Indie Auteur of the Year Award.
