Sorry female gamers. It's time to get back in the kitchen. At least, that's what The Mary Sue and Brianna Wu think. See, the most well known female character in video game history, Metroid’s Samus, is a man. At least, that is what The Mary Sue and said. So I guess the message is that a woman could never be a bad ass hero, unless she was born a man.

I guess misogyny does exist in the video game industry. And the misogynists are Brianna Wu and The Mary Sue. What a twist!
