"Time to put the "Fanboy" hat down...
Okay developers. You did it. I give up. One of your loyal customers lost pretty much all faith in this game. I don't know how you are able to do this after I kept defending this game mistake after mistake. I guess I have limits. I really don't know what is going to happen to this game and I don't know if I will ever re-gain interest if a successful update happens.
I came here in August 2012 hoping for an awesome zombie survival game because I did not like DayZ and wanted to try something better. Sure when Alpha release, it wasn't what I expected but I thought this was going to update over time and by now, have a lot of new content.
That's not the case. What are you guys doing? This game has an okay budget and about 20-30 people working on what? Why are we getting updates like this. What is with "working on patch to ensure quality" when it ends up a flop after the delay anyway. The server rentals was obviously unprepared and you made yourselves sounded like you were taking an extra week to prepare for that.
And I am getting sick of this missing staff on "weekends" routines. Can you at least take shorter hours to do work for War Z or just be on the forums and communicate for an hour or so from home. You guys literally make this forum a ghost town when you are off partying on saturday night.
I am still in school, but you guys treat "days off" like it's some school holiday or something. This is your workplace! That 3 week vacation was so unacceptable. I've never even seen that from anyone before...
About communication, it's just bad. RussianKalibar and JohnnyTruant do talk with the community well, but those two are supposed to be working on the game. Not talking to people on the forums because there's a lack of PR. It's already been twice Mr.Titov has addressed and admitted that they did not "effectively communicate" and that still continues.
This game has no inspiration, has no passion. Maybe it does for a couple people working on it, but it feels like whoever is trying to piece this puzzle together has no motivation to make it a great game. It's like the updates are made to make players "feel good" for a week and the staff leave work for the night without worrying about the horrors from the community's mouths. It's like you're ashamed or your too scared. You guys need to suck it up and fix this problem. This is laziness and I can tell because these are the same traits I had when I was lazy on a project myself.
And if you don't have time for talking, then you need some sort of establishment to get all those answers out of the way. Make a FAQ after every patch, and patch notes should be more descriptive anyway. More detail, the less annoying questions.
For now, I'm not gonna bother playing War Z until the game is fit for fun. I will keep touch with the forums until this entire thing collapses (if more mistakes by the developers are being made.).
I do not believe this should be in the Dungeon or I deserve a ban. This is an honest, valid opinion here!
