"Horror on the Orient Express is a Call of Cthulhu campaign that was first released in 1991 as a boxed set. The original boxed set came in a cardstock box that included a 28-page strangers booklet, a campaign booklet, three adventure books, a 28-page player's handout booklet, cardstock maps of the train, and various other maps and handout material.
**------ An Update ----- **
First, we want to express how grateful we are to everyone for supporting us. It has been less than two days since the launch of this Kickstarter campaign, and already we are more than 90% funded. This has been a tremendous surprise and we appreciate the support of you—our fans. Thank you sincerely for playing our games, reading our books, and for giving us your sanity. We are excited to be re-releasing this iconic game, and have many ideas about what could be included.
The Chaosium crew is currently at Gen Con in Indianapolis, where we are very busy converting more gamers into cultists, counting kilts, and chatting with our fellow geeks. Because of this we have not been able to respond to all questions and comments, but do not worry, we will get to them as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience.
Thanks to those that pointed out that some of the levels did not include details on shipping, we have posted an update about that in the Updates tab.
A Note on Stretch Goals!
We are happy to announce that once we exceed the $20,000 goal, we will offer everyone who pledged at or above the $90 reward level a full-color poster-sized map of the train route. But all those at lower levels, we have not forgotten you! All backers at or below the $70 reward level will receive a PDF of the color map (a PDF of the map will be rewarded to all levels at or above $10).
We are thinking of many more stretch goal rewards, some which will be offered exclusively to backers, and others that will allow us to create a cooler, sleeker, more horrifically awesome version of the boxed set.
